Pinterest.  A wonderful exchange of ideas or an addictive time dump?

I sit down with the intent of just scrolling through a few lines under the 'Popular' tab, my favorite section. The next thing I know it's 4 hours later and my laptop(or iMac) is PACKED with new bookmarks, screenprints and recipes turned into PDFs.

When I first joined it was because a random friend put me on to it(Thanks Becky!) and said I would enjoy it.  There wasn't much to follow back then and checking an hour a week was enough to see all the new ideas.  Now I hear people talking about it everywhere and by the time I reach the end of a screen and scroll back up there is a whole new page of STUFF....

Then came the first exciting email,  "[insert name] is following your Pinterest"  It was a cousin (HI Shelley!) but a few weeks later I started getting those more and more and they were people I didn't know.  Oh my gosh!  Instant affirmation, there are tons of people out there who like the same stuff I do!

Of course everything I really like I have to check out the original page it came from...which leads to some wonderful finds and even more time spent staring at the screen.

I have seen so many wonderful crafty DIY ideas that my poor little scrapbook named Inspiration will need to get working to produce Inspiration Jr. and Inspiration III.  I'll also need to buy stock in HP to pay for all the printer cartridges I go through printing out all those pictures of future projects I'd like to tackle.
